Actress Cristine Reyes expressed her admiration for former Vice President and now Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo after meeting her during the recently concluded Ms. Bicolandia 2025 pageant, where Reyes served as one of the judges.

“Such an honor to sit as one of the judges at Ms. Bicolandia 2025, a night of beauty, grace, and empowerment,” Reyes wrote on Instagram on Sept. 15.
She went on to thank Robredo for her hospitality:
“Special thank you to the honorable and well-loved Mayor of Naga City, Mayor Leni Robredo, for her inspiring leadership and gracious welcome. Gratitude as well to Raffy Magno of Angat Buhay for taking such good care of us.”
The actress concluded her post with a personal note of thanks to “Mr. G,” whom she described as her “quiet anchor and constant calm.”

Photos from the event showed Reyes alongside Robredo, her rumored partner Gio Tingson—former National Youth Commission chairperson—and actor Jake Ejercito.
The post drew attention from netizens, as Reyes had previously campaigned for Sen. Imee Marcos during the 2022 national elections and portrayed the senator in Darryl Yap’s Marcos films Maid in Malacañang and Martyr or Murderer.
Her appearance with Robredo and Tingson, a known Kakampink, sparked speculation of a shift in alliances, with some observers calling it a “character development” moment for the actress.
