Stories of love, betrayal, and friendship are brought to life with GMA Playlist’s new collection of songs this September. The new tracks are the official soundtracks of GMA Network’s “Ganito Tayo, Kapuso: Masayahin” values campaign, as well as emotional ballads from various Sparkle artists.

GMA Network’s Ganito Tayo Kapuso: Masayahin values campaign highlights the journey of children immersed in online gaming who rediscover the joy of real-world friendship through their parents’ guidance. The official soundtrack for the campaign features three songs: “Ikaw Na Lang Ang Kulang,” “Basta’t Magkasama Tayo,” and “Atin ang Mundo, which capture its “masayahin” message.
Kapuso singer Mitzi Josh performs the heartfelt single “Ikaw Na Lang Ang Kulang,” composed by Ann Margaret Figueroa. The song beautifully expresses the longing for genuine connection and the idea that happiness can sometimes be found in the company of others.
In a lively collaboration, Kim de Leon, Seb Pajarillo, and Mitzi Josh team up for “Basta’t Magkasama Tayo.” Composed by Ann Margaret Figueroa and Joshua Gapasin, this track is an upbeat celebration of friendship and the happiness that comes from being together.
The collaboration continues with Kim de Leon and Seb Pajarillo on “Atin ang Mundo.” Composed by Ann Margaret Figueroa and Kenneth Job Reodica, and mixed by Andrea Rae Culla, the song is an empowering anthem about rediscovering the world through shared experiences.
Soulful Ballads from Sparkle singers
Meanwhile, The Clash 2023 Grand Winner and Sparkle artist John Rex lends his powerful voice to the GMA Afternoon Prime series Cruz vs. Cruz with “Kahit Wala Nang Tayo.” Composed by Roxanne E. Fabian, the song is about the intense guilt and sorrow of Neil Ryan Sese’s character, Manuel, as he deals with the consequences of betraying his wife. The lyrics narrate his deep regret and the enduring love that remains even after trust is broken in their marriage. The song was mixed by Harry A. Bernardino.
Kim Perez also makes a moving impression with his rock ballad, “Huling Hinto.” The song speaks about the moment when you finally face the truth – that it’s all over – and all you long for is honesty from the one who’s ready to let go. Composed by Rina Mercado and arranged by Roxanne E. Fabian, Kim delivers every word of the song with aching sincerity.
