The Museum of Speaking Skin officially opened its doors last September 25 at Shangri-La Plaza, transforming the campaign theme ‘Skin Speaks, We Listen’ into an immersive art and science experience.
Running until September 28, the pop-up museum invites guests to engage with interactive artworks, explore skin health insights, and celebrate the beauty and resilience of womanhood. Admission is free.

At the heart of the exhibit are 14 artworks created by Filipino artists, each reflecting diverse stages of womanhood—from childhood and adolescence to motherhood and graceful aging.
“Each artwork here, as much as possible, we try to represent the different stages of womanhood… Art is the most effective way to tell a story and invoke emotion,” said Jamie Superable-Martin, brand manager of Lactacyd.
For painter Michelle Alde, whose piece Of Poise and Power was featured, the exhibit became a platform to confront her teenage skin insecurities.
“This is the unveiling of my figure. Finally, I feel like I can show myself confidently enough. It’s a push that I needed,” Alde shared.

Meanwhile, Zee Venti, who contributed two works, highlighted the importance of openness in sharing skin stories.
“For a long time, we kind of hide everything—our skin, whatever our issue is with our skin. I think now we’re more open and inclusive,” Venti said. Her works touched on themes of menstruation, scars, and confidence despite struggles.
Beyond the art, the museum also features interactive stations, a child-friendly zone, and Lactacyd’s full product portfolio for visitors to explore.

Alongside the exhibit, Lactacyd launched its new body wash line: Healthy Bright (with actipone and niacinamide for brighter skin) and Ever Fresh (with 24-hour odor protection for active lifestyles). Both are powered by the Lactobiome+ formulation, which blends Natural Lactoserum and Organic Lactic Acid to hydrate skin and maintain its healthy pH balance.
Superable-Martin emphasized that the products are designed for everyone: “The body wash can be used by men as well.”
The new line expands Lactacyd’s offerings beyond feminine care into total skin health, supported by refreshed packaging featuring the Lactobiome+ droplet.
Established in 1947, Lactacyd has long been a trusted name in feminine hygiene and baby care. With the Museum of Speaking Skin, the brand underscores its advocacy of empowering women, promoting inclusivity, and helping Filipinos build skin confidence.
The pop-up exhibit runs until September 28, 2025 at the East Atrium, Shangri-La Plaza, after which the campaign will continue in different activations nationwide. (with reports from Lau Balocos)
