Forty-two candidates from around the world were formally introduced on Thursday, September 25, at the Grand Ballroom of Okada Manila as official delegates of Miss Asia-Pacific International (MAPI) 2025.
The global pageant, one of the oldest international beauty competitions, will crown its new queen on October 8 at the Cebu Coliseum in the Queen City of the South.

This year’s roster features representatives from Australia, Brazil, India, the Philippines, the United States, and many more, showcasing a diverse lineup of accomplished and empowered women. Notably, the 2025 edition marks the return of delegates from Luxembourg, Guam, and Morocco.
During the press presentation, the delegates took to the runway wearing identical one-piece swimsuits designed by Sonny Boy Mindo and regulation footwear by Zanea.

Filipina delegate Anita Rose Gomez emerged as the most awarded candidate of the day, bagging Miss Asia Pacific Pageanthology, Miss RMBC Café, Miss Pomp & Pageantry, and finishing as 2nd place Darling of the Press.
The coveted Darling of the Press Award went to Kayla Jane Usison of the USA, who also won Miss Kiara Aesthetics.

France’s Oceane Gryzon has officially withdrawn, while Zambia’s representative was unable to attend the Manila presentation.
Pageant fans can also help their favorites by voting online for the People’s Choice Award winner, who will secure an automatic spot in the quarterfinals.
The 42nd Miss Asia-Pacific International coronation night will be held on October 8, 2025 at the Cebu Coliseum, where reigning queen Janelis Leyva of the USA will crown her successor. (with reports from Lau Balocos)
