Speculation over the relationship status of ‘It’s Showtime’ host Ryan Bang and his fiancée Paola Huyong continues to heat up after Paola shared a cryptic Instagram Story that many netizens believe hints at trouble in paradise.
In her post, Paola reshared a video of the late Kobe Bryant talking about surrendering struggles to God: “Just let it go. It is what it is. You let it go, put it in God’s hands and He’ll carry. God is great.”
The post came amid growing rumors that the couple may have broken off their engagement. Fans also noticed that Paola was no longer wearing her engagement ring in a recent mirror selfie with a friend, further fueling the speculation.
Adding to the buzz, Paola’s engagement photos and pictures with Ryan appear to have been deleted from her Instagram feed. In contrast, Ryan still has photos of Paola on his page, though netizens have since flooded his comment sections with questions about their wedding.
Meanwhile, entertainment host Ogie Diaz revealed on his ‘Showbiz Update’ vlog that he reached out to Paola to clarify the matter but received no response.
“Iginagalang natin ‘yun. Baka kasi si Paola ay nandun pa sa estado na malungkot pa. Tapos parang inaaral pa ang mga sitwasyon,” Diaz explained.
Ryan, for his part, has not directly addressed the rumors, though one of his recent Instagram Stories featured a post about Paldo Restaurant, the Korean fine-dining establishment he co-owns with Paola, captioned: “I’m still waiting for you… I’m here!”
The couple, who first met at a football game in May 2023, went public with their relationship in October 2023 and announced their engagement in August 2024.
As of now, neither Ryan nor Paola has issued an official statement regarding the status of their relationship.
