Contrary to circulating rumors online, controversial contractor Sarah Discaya was not offended by Kapuso comedy genius Michael V.’s impersonation of her as the character “Ciala Dismaya” in the gag show ‘Bubble Gang’.

Several Facebook posts and vlogs earlier claimed that Discaya was angered by the spoof and was even planning to file a case against Michael V.
However, her lawyer, Atty. Cornelio Samaniego III, clarified that there is no truth to these reports.
“Hindi po. Okay lang sa kaniya. Alam mo naman si Sir Bitoy, talaga namang idol ko nga ‘yan,” Samaniego told GMA News in an ambush interview.
He added that both he and his client respect Michael V.’s work as a comedian.
“Nirerespeto natin si Michael V., idol natin iyan sa Bubble Gang. Trabaho niya ‘yan. Parang ako, abogado, trabaho ko ito. Si Sir Michael, trabaho niya yun. Doon siya kilala. So, bakit tayo magagalit?” he explained.
Discaya, who recently appeared before the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee in connection with alleged anomalous flood control projects, was aware of the parody ahead of its airing.
Michael V. first teased his “Ciala Dismaya” character online last Tuesday, instantly going viral. The full skit will air on ‘Bubble Gang’ this Sunday, September 14, at 6:10 p.m. on GMA Network.
