Actress Alexa Miro turned emotional during her guest appearance on the October 5 episode of the TV5 game show ‘Sing Galing’, where she tearfully sang Rockstar’s hit song ‘Ika’y Mahal Pa Rin.’
While the show’s hosts Randy Santiago, K Brosas, and Donita Nose were performing, Miro could be seen holding her chest and wiping away tears. When it was her turn to sing the emotional lines “hindi mo ba naaalala ang mga kahapon?” the actress broke down completely, struggling to finish the song as tears streamed down her face.
The moment quickly went viral, with viewers sympathizing with the actress, who recently confirmed her five-year relationship with Ilocos Norte First District Representative Sandro Marcos had come to an end.
In a previous interview, Miro revealed that their relationship was kept private for “security reasons.” She also mentioned that the breakup was difficult and that she is still in the process of healing.
“We all deserve better. Remember that. We all deserve better. And it’s something that you should tell yourself every day. I deserve better. I deserve better than this,” Miro said in a recent post reflecting on self-worth and moving on.
Her emotional performance sparked reactions online, with fans noting how deeply she seemed affected by the song’s lyrics — many interpreting it as a heartfelt expression of her lingering pain over the breakup.
