After winning hearts as Alys in ‘Seducing Drake Palma’, Angela Muji is ready to take on her most emotionally challenging role yet — starring as the female lead in Viva Films’ ‘A Werewolf Boy’ opposite Rabin Angeles.

The ‘Seducing Drake Palma’ breakout star, who first rose to fame through ‘Ang Mutya ng Section E’, continues to build her career with projects that test her range and emotional depth. In this upcoming adaptation of the beloved 2012 Korean fantasy-romance, Angela plays Sarah, a provincial girl who discovers and learns to care for a mysterious feral young man.
Originally portrayed by Park Bo-young in the Korean version, the character represents compassion, innocence, and unconditional love — traits that Angela is eager to reinterpret for a new generation of Filipino viewers.
“It’s such a beautiful story about love and acceptance,” Angela said. “I’m excited but also nervous because this role is emotionally heavy. It’s not just about romance — it’s about empathy and transformation.”
Working again with Rabin Angeles and director Crisanto B. Aquino, who also helmed ‘Seducing Drake Palma’, Angela sees ‘A Werewolf Boy’ as an opportunity to showcase maturity as an actress while staying true to the charm that endeared her to fans.
“Working with Rabin again feels natural,” she shared. “We already trust each other, so now we can explore deeper emotions and more complex storytelling.”
The actress also expressed gratitude for the unwavering support of their fans, fondly known as RabGel Nation, who have followed their journey from the small screen to the big screen.
“We wouldn’t be here without the fans,” she said. “This movie is for them — and for everyone who believes in love in all its forms.”
With filming underway, Angela Muji is stepping confidently into leading-lady territory — ready to balance softness with strength, vulnerability with power, and imagination with heart.
Angela Muji stars in Viva Films’ ‘A Werewolf Boy’, directed by Crisanto B. Aquino — soon in theaters nationwide.
