Dreams don’t have to start with a big step—sometimes, all it takes is a plan, a purpose, and a community that believes in you.

This was the message shared by Darlyn Ty-Nilo, founder of Belle de Jour (BDJ), during the exclusive media launch of the brand’s 20th anniversary held on October 8, 2025, at The Astbury in Makati City, attended by LionhearTV and other media partners.
According to Ty-Nilo, the milestone marks BDJ’s evolution from being a planner brand into a full-fledged empowerment movement through its new initiative, Big Dreams Journey—a campaign designed to help Filipinos not just plan their dreams, but live them.
“We’re expanding what we’ve always stood for,” Ty-Nilo said. “For 20 years, the planner has been our foundation. Now, we’re building on that legacy by offering more tools, more experiences, and more ways to help people live their dreams.”
The Big Dreams Journey movement is built on three pillars: tools, workshops, and community. Among the new offerings are Vision Board Kits, Dreampowerment Journals, and upcoming workshops that encourage reflection, goal-setting, and concrete action toward personal success.
“Every season brought us closer to what we were truly meant to be: not just a planner brand, but a movement,” the BDJ founder added. “This 20th year marks an expansion and a reaffirmation of our mission to support dreamers in even more powerful ways.”
From its humble beginnings in 2006, the BDJ Power Planner has become a symbol of hope and ambition for many Filipinas—transforming planning into a creative, mindful practice. Over the years, BDJ has expanded its reach through fairs, journaling challenges, and community workshops that help individuals rediscover their purpose.

This year’s celebration looks ahead to the next chapter of empowerment, where planning meets purposeful action.
“Dreams aren’t meant to be pursued alone,” Ty-Nilo emphasized. “They flourish in the community. That’s what Big Dreams Journey is all about: creating spaces where each person’s growth fuels another’s courage to dream.”
As BDJ enters its third decade, the brand remains committed to helping dreamers navigate life with intention and courage—turning every plan into progress and every vision into reality.
“If the first 20 years were about empowering people to plan their dreams,” Ty-Nilo concluded, “the next phase is about supporting them in truly living their dreams. Our mission is no longer just to publish a planner—it’s to champion every dreamer’s journey.” (with reports from Loyd Pino)
