Love is in the air for Kapamilya star Maymay Entrata, who just confirmed her new relationship with Filipino-American model and actor Joaquin Enriquez.
On Sunday, October 19, Joaquin made their romance Instagram official by posting a sweet beach video featuring the ‘Amakabogera’ singer.
In the clip, he pans the camera across the shoreline before Maymay appears, running toward him and wrapping her arms around him. The short video ends with Joaquin giving her a tender kiss on the forehead.
“I finally found my Iris :),” Joaquin captioned the post — a romantic nod to the Goo Goo Dolls song playing in the background.
Maymay sealed the confirmation herself by commenting “My Lover” on the post, to which Joaquin replied, “Mahal kita :)”.
The video immediately went viral, earning over 900,000 views and tens of thousands of likes within hours. Fans flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages and heartfelt reactions.
“Thank you for making her happy and feel loved,” one user wrote. “Paki-ingatan si Maymay please,” another added.
The following day, Maymay shared an Instagram Story showing a bouquet of flowers she received from Joaquin, along with a handwritten note that read:
“Congratulations on completing your MV, doing good on your taping, and everything you do. I’m so proud of you, baby. I love you.”
Maymay, who currently hosts ABS-CBN’s Sunday variety show ‘ASAP Natin ‘To’, is also set to star in the upcoming primetime action drama ‘Roja’ with Donny Pangilinan and Kyle Echarri.
Meanwhile, Joaquin is a University of California – San Diego graduate with a degree in Theater. He has appeared in several short films and is part of the upcoming series ‘Madame Hula.’ The couple’s public confirmation comes more than a year after Maymay confirmed her breakup with her non-showbiz ex-boyfriend Aaron Haskell in April 2024.
