Rising young stars Princess Aliyah and Miguel Vergara are the latest celebrities to be announced as official housemates for “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0!”

The two were introduced on GMA Network’s ’24 Oras’ on Wednesday, where they were dubbed “Ang Royal Songstress ng Bulacan” and “Ang Adorable Smasher ng Antipolo City,” respectively.
A Sparkle teen artist, Princess has appeared in several GMA Network shows including ‘Forever Young’, ‘Royal Blood’, and ‘Start-Up PH’. Apart from acting, she is also a talented singer who first caught the public’s attention when she joined a reality singing competition in 2016. She also showcased her stage talent as Marta in the Manila production of ‘The Sound of Music’ in 2017.
Meanwhile, Miguel Vergara, who began his acting career as a child, is best known for his performances in ‘Tubig at Langis’ and ‘One More Try’—the latter earning him Best Child Actor awards at the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival and the 2013 FAMAS Awards.
In an interview, 17-year-old Princess revealed that she chose to join ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ over a lead role offer in an upcoming GMA project.
“Once in a lifetime opportunity lang po ito,” she shared.
“Parang mas nag-take ako ng risk kasi ‘di talaga ako risk-taker, parang mas gusto ko mag-play safe… Sabi ko bago ako mag-18 [years old], gusto ko maka-try ng something exciting,” she added.
For Miguel, the experience of joining PBB offered something new.
“New experience naman and I get to meet new people, so that intrigued me a lot, so I said yes [to joining the program],” he said.
The pair join previously announced housemates Sofia Pablo (Sparkle) and Joaquin Arce (Star Magic) in the upcoming season’s lineup.
Set to premiere on Saturday, October 25 at 6:05 p.m., ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0’ marks the second partnership between ABS-CBN and GMA Network for the long-running reality franchise.
After its premiere, the show will air weeknights at 9:40 p.m., Saturdays at 6:15 p.m., and Sundays at 10:05 p.m.
The first Celebrity Collab Edition, which aired earlier this year, brought together Kapamilya and Kapuso celebrities in pairs—culminating in the victory of Mika Salamanca and Brent Manalo.
