A lively celebration of Thai flavors came to life this October as Viva International Food & Restaurants, Inc. hosted its “Thai Street Food Launch,” presenting new menu dishes inspired by Thailand’s beloved street fare at Greyhound Café Eastwood City.
Hosted by Phoebe Walker, the Thai Street Food Presentation gathered friends from the media and the digital creator community to celebrate the vibrant flavors of Thai street food.
Greyhound Café’s Assistant Kitchen Manager, Chef Jay-r Antolin, shared that the idea for the Thai Street Food launch came from paying homage to the street foods of Bangkok.
“From the streets of Bangkok, we want our fellow Filipinos to taste Thailand’s street foods but with a twist — the Greyhound Style way,” he said.
Greyhound Café – Eastwood City showcased its Thai Street Food menu items, starting with appetizers like Shrimp and Pork Toast and Thai Steamed Dumplings; mains included Stir-fried Curry (Prawns), Hat Yai-Styled Fried Chicken, and Fried Pork Belly with Fish Sauce; and Banana Caramel Toasted for dessert. To complement the dishes, guests enjoyed the refreshing new drink, Iced Tamarind Juice.
Adding to the excitement, Greyhound Café announced its partnership with Thai Airways — a collaboration that celebrates the vibrant spirit of Thailand through its culture, cuisine, and travel.
In collaboration with Thai Airways, Greyhound Café is giving away two round-trip tickets from Manila to Bangkok to two lucky customers through their upcoming “Your Passport to Bangkok” promo, launching in November! Simply collect all six stamps with a minimum spend of ₱2,000 per visit to earn special treats along the way — and a chance to win a trip to Thailand.
