Vlogger and content creator Kier Garcia, popularly known online as “Fhukerat,” has spoken up about the real reason he was denied entry to Dubai, following days of online speculation, criticism, and misinformation.

In a video uploaded to his official Facebook page titled ‘DI NAMAN KAYO YUNG NA DENIED!’, Garcia clarified that the immigration officer flagged an “identity do not match your passport” issue—specifically noting that his appearance did not match the gender marker indicated in his travel document.
According to Garcia, the officer did not cite his clothing, makeup, or demeanor as the reason for the denial.
“Kapag tiningnan ako, mukha akong babae, pero sa passport ko ay male. ‘Yun ang basehan ng ‘identity mismatch,’” he explained.
Addressing people who mocked or criticized his situation, Garcia said: “Hindi ko naman inapakan ang pagkatao ng kahit sino nung na-deny ako. Ako nga ‘yung naapektuhan, ako ‘yung dumaan doon hindi sila. Kaya nakakapanlumo how some people feel so entitled to speak on things they never experienced themselves.”
He continued: “Kung wala kayong masasabi na makakatulong, mas mabuti pang manahimik. I’m learning, I’m growing, and I choose to rise above the noise. My setbacks don’t define me — they refine me.”
In the comments section, Garcia also expressed disappointment toward members of the LGBTQ+ community who criticized him: “Tapos yung mga nag insult pa galing pa sa community ng LGBT na dapat sila yung mas nakakaintindi! … Piliin maging mabuting tao! ❤️”
Screenshots circulating online via Queen Hera of Hera Glow claim that Garcia drew early attention on CCTV due to being “too loud” upon exiting the airplane.
The same viral screencaps allege that Garcia also entered the women’s restroom, prompting airport security to intervene.
According to Queen Hera’s account, the immigration officer told her: “This is not about the dress — this is about national security.”
Garcia, however, has not confirmed these details in his official statements.
Content creator Mea Sayson, who earlier went viral for commenting on the incident, clarified in her recent TikTok live that Queen Hera should not be blamed for Garcia’s offloading. She even showed screenshots of Queen Hera messaging her to clear any misunderstanding.
In his earlier TikTok upload, Garcia emotionally recalled the experience: “Naiiyak ako na nanginginig at takot! Nasa Dubai na, pinauwi pa! Grabe.”
Though he previously did not disclose details, many netizens speculated that his wig, nails, eyelashes, and feminine clothing may have triggered stricter scrutiny—especially since UAE is known for conservative public decency rules and thorough immigration assessments.
Garcia was eventually offloaded and sent back to the Philippines on the same day.
As of this writing, Dubai authorities have not issued a public statement regarding the specific incident.
