Comedy Queen Aiai delas Alas had netizens laughing after she poked fun at her ex-husband’s reaction during their wedding, prompted by a compilation of emotional groom videos she recently watched online.
Aiai posted a reel featuring various wedding moments where grooms tearfully reacted upon seeing their brides. In contrast, she joked that her own wedding did not have that kind of emotion.
In her Instagram caption, she wrote: “Pag nanood ako ng mga ganito na umiiyak mga groom napapa-smile ako… P.I kaya pala yung saken dati hindi ganito reaction hahahahaha dapat pala ganito.”
A follower humorously commented, “Ganyan ba reaction ng bwisit mong ex nung wedding day nyo?” Aiai replied: “Naku waley na waley hahahahahha.”
Another netizen teased her with, “Na scam ka mhie,” while others reminded her of a superstition claiming grooms who cry during weddings end up separating—mentioning Luis Manzano as the remaining exception. Aiai did not respond to this part.

Even veteran actress Amy Austria joined the fun, commenting: “Cute cute mo friend,” to which Aiai answered, “hahaha kasi friend yung 2nd sobra yung 3rd wala hahaha ano bayan.”
Aiai was referring to her second marriage to Jed Salang in 2013, which she said was emotional, and her third marriage to Gerald Sibayan in 2017, which she said had “wala” in terms of reaction. She was previously married to singer Miguel Vera, from whom she separated in 1996.
Aiai confirmed her separation from Gerald Sibayan in November 2024.
