A new creative hub has opened its doors at the Venice Grand Canal Mall as Imperial Dance Studio officially launched its 100-square-meter multi-disciplinary dance hall located on the second level of the San Marco Wing.

The studio, which held its grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, November 22, first began operations on October 15 and now offers an extensive lineup of classes for all ages and skill levels.
These include Jazz, K-pop, Ballet, Aerial, Hip-hop, Ballroom, Gymnastics, Dance Fitness, Contemporary, as well as Cultural Dance, Filipino martial arts, and the art of Arnis.
Studio owner Milai Imperial brings with her years of professional experience. A former member of the UP Filipiniana in Diliman and Douglas Nierras Powerdance, she later became a performer at Hong Kong Disneyland.
“What makes our studio unique is that we teach cultural dances, Filipino martial arts, and the art of Arnis,” Imperial shared.
Milai runs the studio with her husband, Franz Gerald Imperial, a theater actor and international performer who also worked at Disneyland Singapore. The couple now has two children.
Imperial Dance Studio aims to create a nurturing environment for aspiring dancers, movement enthusiasts, and anyone looking to explore creative expression through performance arts.
