Kapamilya star Anne Curtis has once again used her platform to call out issues in government, expressing impatience over the lack of accountability in the ongoing investigations into alleged corruption involving flood control projects.

Like many Filipinos growing weary of stalled probes, Anne did not hide her frustration.
The actress reposted Chel Diokno’s viral X post that read, “Anuna? Mga big fish, wala pa rin?” along with a reel set to a Jose Mari Chan Christmas song asking, “December na… may magpapasko na ba sa kulungan?”
Responding to the post, Anne wrote, “I was just thinking this! Hahahahaha! Graaaaaabe talaaaagaaaa.”
The actress also echoed public sentiment when she reshared Angat Buhay’s post about joining the Trillion Peso March held on November 30 at the EDSA People Power Monument.
The caption from the organization read: “TRILLION PESO MARCH. Kasama ang Angat Bayanihan Volunteer Network, muli tayong nagmartsa upang manindigan para sa integridad at pananagutan sa pamahalaan. Lahat ng sangkot, dapat managot!”
Anne added her own emphatic message, writing, “IKULONG NA ANG MGA KURAKOT. I CAN’T BELIEVE IT’S TAKING THIS LONG! WHAT A JOKE!”
Her post quickly gained traction as netizens agreed with her frustration over the prolonged investigations into corruption within the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), where several officials have been linked to alleged anomalies.
Aside from political commentary, Anne also weighed in on a recent issue involving a ‘Laro Laro Pick’ contestant who faced social media bullying. She reminded the public: “If ever anything na natutunan na natin dito, let’s all be a little bit sensitive, ‘di ba? If you have nothing nice to say, don’t say it at all.”
Anne Curtis recently returned to ‘It’s Showtime,’ almost simultaneously with Vice Ganda, just in time for the noontime show’s anniversary.
