Singer-comedienne Kakai Bautista once again expressed her outrage following a viral video showing contractor Sarah Discaya making an obscene gesture at a member of the media.
The incident happened as Sarah and her husband, Curlee Discaya, were leaving the Department of Justice after proceedings related to multiple cases filed against them.
In the circulating video, a reporter directly asked Sarah, “Ma’am, isasauli n’yo raw po ‘yong mga ninakaw ninyo?” Instead of responding, Sarah allegedly raised her middle finger at the journalist—an act that quickly drew public backlash online.
Reacting on her Facebook page, Kakai did not hold back her anger.
“Sumisilip ang sungay ko kapag nakikita ko ang mga MAGNANAKAW na walang pagsisisi,” she wrote.
While many netizens agreed with her sentiments, some advised Kakai to calm down. This, however, only fueled her response.
“Bawal dito ang mga IMPOKRITO AT IMPOKRITA!!!!!!! Wag nyo akong sinasabihan na MASAMANG MAGALIT. Pwe!!!!!” she replied.
She added, “May karapatan tayong MAGALIT. Kahit si LORD alam yan. Huhupa ang galit pero ang pagnanakaw HINDI hangga’t walang hustisya!!!!!!!!”
Addressing Sarah directly, Kakai further wrote, “Inaka 2 times. HAPPY KAME. kulang pa yan!!!!!!!!”
The Discaya couple was brought separately to the DOJ on Friday, December 19, following Sarah’s arrest by the National Bureau of Investigation. Both are facing a preliminary investigation over a ₱7.1-billion tax evasion complaint filed by the Bureau of Internal Revenue, in connection with alleged anomalous flood control projects under the Department of Public Works and Highways.
Earlier, Kakai had also reacted strongly to a separate video where Sarah spoke about her ordeal, including being separated from her children and the possibility of imprisonment.
“INAKA! Sampu ng kanunoan mo. Kung MAHAL n’yo ang mga ANAK n’yo, HINDI KAYO MAGIGING SAKIM,” Kakai wrote in a previous post.
“You will be served with what you DESERVE. Deserve ng PAMILYA MO ang BAWAT Galit na meron ang BAWAT Pilipino… PATAS si KARMA. We are excited to WATCH you SUFFER the consequences.”
