Actress Nadine Samonte sparked discussion on social media after sharing a candid—and humorous—post about people who only reach out to her during the Christmas season to ask for help or gifts.

In a Facebook post, Nadine addressed those who message her during the holidays despite barely keeping in touch throughout the year.
“Dear People, alam ko this is the time of giving kasi its Christmas pero kahit hindi pasko we share,” Nadine wrote.
She then directly called out what she described as a recurring December pattern.
“So ang issue ko is wag niyo naman ako i message ng nanghihinge kasi pasko or something na buong taon hindi nyo naman ako pinapansin tuwing December nyo lang ba ako naaalala,” she added.
Ending her post on a lighthearted note, Nadine joked that she would deliberately forget such messages during the holiday season.
“Pwes tuwing December ako magkakaroon ng Amnesia just saying✌,” she wrote.
The post quickly gained traction online, with many netizens saying they could relate to Nadine’s sentiment, noting that similar situations are common during the Christmas season in the Philippines.
The actress later shared the same post on her Instagram Stories, further fueling online conversation.
Nadine Samonte is currently happily married to non-showbiz businessman Richard Chua and is a hands-on mother to their children, Heather, Titus, and Harmony.
