Sarah Lahbati has finally reacted online after rumors spread claiming she was asked to leave an exclusive after-party by the father of a well-known socialite.
The controversy erupted after a Reddit post went viral alleging that Lahbati was escorted out of Medusa Bar in BGC during the after-party of a Tatler Philippines event.
According to the post, several prominent personalities—including Rocio Zobel, Pia Wurtzbach, Georgina Wilson, and Marty Romualdez—were already at the venue when Lahbati arrived. The post claimed that the atmosphere shifted upon her entrance, prompting Rocio Zobel to speak with her father, Iñigo Zobel. Moments later, staff allegedly approached Lahbati and firmly escorted her out of the venue.
The Redditor described the moment as “very public” despite the absence of any shouting or confrontation, saying the actress appeared “stunned” as onlookers pretended not to stare. The incident was quickly compared by netizens to a “Manila high-society teleserye scene.”
Reports later surfaced that Lahbati’s estranged mother-in-law, Annabelle Rama, expressed sympathy for the actress, saying she felt bad about how Lahbati was treated and calling the situation humiliating for her former daughter-in-law.
Amid the escalating speculation, Lahbati posted a cryptic message on her social media account, which many netizens interpreted as a response to the controversy.
