vivo Philippines reaffirmed its commitment to nation-building and youth empowerment through a nationwide holiday corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, MaVIVOng Pasko para sa Kabataan (Bright Christmas for the Youth), conducted from December 12 to 16, 2025.

The multi-day program reached nine public schools and two government centers across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, bringing timely assistance and holiday cheer to school communities with limited resources. Anchored on vivo’s vision of inspiring and building brighter futures, the initiative focused on extending meaningful support while fostering hope, unity, and service during the Christmas season.

Supporting schools, uplifting communities

MaVIVOng Pasko para sa Kabataan was designed to enrich learning environments through needs-based interventions, ensuring that each beneficiary received support tailored to their specific requirements.

These included school supplies, health and hygiene kits, food packs, and essential school equipment, all aimed at helping students and educators thrive beyond the holidays.

The CSR activities were carried out in the following locations nationwide:

  • Subangdaku Elementary School – Mandaue City, Cebu
  • Bolilao Elementary School – Mandurriao, Iloilo City
  • DSWD Reception and Study Center for Children – Palo, Leyte
  • Tropical Village National High School – General Trias, Cavite
  • Quesban Elementary School – Calasiao, Pangasinan
  • Santulan Elementary School – Malabon, Metro Manila
  • San Juan Elementary School – San Simon, Pampanga
  • Mabasa Elementary School – Dupax Del Norte, Nueva Vizcaya
  • Taguig Community and Evacuation Center – Child Development Center – Taguig, Metro Manila
  • Pagatpat National High School – Pagatpat, Cagayan de Oro
  • Doña Asuncion Hizon Elementary School – Davao City, Davao del Sur

Inspiring hope beyond the holiday

According to Liu Lu, Brand Marketing Director of vivo Philippines, the initiative reflects the brand’s deeper purpose beyond innovation.

“MaVIVOng Pasko para sa Kabataan is our way of sharing hope and encouragement with young learners and educators across the country. At vivo Philippines, we believe that empowering the youth today helps shape a brighter tomorrow. This holiday season, we wanted to remind communities that they are supported, valued, and seen,” she shared.

Educators from beneficiary schools expressed heartfelt appreciation for the program. Dr. Marc Airon Creus, Principal of Tropical Village National High School in General Trias, Cavite shared, “Talagang vivong vivo po ang pasko ng Tropical Village National High School, alam namin na katulad ng inyong kumpanya, you empower the future. Ito pong ating paaralan, we empower every kind of learner that we have in this institution. Ibigay ninyo po ang aming pasasalamat sa inyong kumpanya na masaya po kami, at alam ko na ang bawat learner ay masaya kasi sila ay may matatanggap na mavivong pamasko.”

Through MaVIVOng Pasko para sa Kabataan, vivo Philippines strengthened its presence in communities nationwide through purposeful engagement and collective action. The initiative also underscored the brand’s commitment to cultivating a culture of service and unity among its regional teams, with the shared goal of uplifting Filipino students and helping to build a more hopeful future.

As vivo Philippines continues to grow, its dedication to social responsibility remains steadfast, proving that meaningful innovation goes hand in hand with compassion, especially when it matters most. Follow vivo Philippines on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X for the latest updates.
