‘Na-Patrick siya in real life!’ John Feir goes viral after accidentally attending wrong wedding

Actor John Feir, best known for playing Patrick in the long-running sitcom ‘Pepito Manaloto’, went viral after accidentally attending the wrong wedding at Don Bosco Church in Makati on January 3.

The incident was shared by his co-star Mikoy Morales, who recounted that Feir misread the RSVP details on his invitation. According to Morales, Feir saw the line “Please RSVP on or before Jan 3” and mistakenly assumed that the wedding ceremony itself was scheduled for that date. In reality, the wedding he was invited to was set to take place in March.

“Jan 3 lang ’yung nabasa,” Morales wrote, explaining how the mix-up happened.

Morales further shared that Feir arrived at the church wearing a barong, only to realize that everyone else was dressed in suits. Despite the confusion, Feir was reportedly ushered to the center during photo and video coverage, making the situation even more awkward.

“Pagdating niya lahat naka-suit, siya lang ang naka-Barong. Pina-gitna pa siya at ginandahan daw ng anggulo ’yung pagkuha sa kanya ng photo/video,” Morales shared.

Feir eventually noticed that he did not recognize anyone at the ceremony and that the groom looked unfamiliar. This prompted him to call fellow ‘Pepito Manaloto’ co-star Chariz Solomon to clarify the situation. After confirming the mistake, Morales jokingly described the incident as a real-life version of Feir’s on-screen character.

“Wala siyang nakilala at iba daw hitsura ng groom. Tsaka lang tumawag kay Chariz Solomon para magtanong at magkwento at ayun nga, confirmed: Na-Patrick siya in real life,” Morales added.

The story quickly gained traction online, with netizens finding humor in how Feir’s real-life mishap mirrored the clueless yet lovable nature of his character Patrick. As of this writing, Feir has yet to personally comment on the viral incident, which many fans have described as a perfect example of life imitating art.
