Senator Robin Padilla expressed concern over the current health condition of the “Queen of All Media” Kris Aquino, who continues to battle multiple illnesses.

Padilla personally appealed to the public to pray for Aquino’s recovery after learning about a recent medical emergency she experienced while undergoing a supposedly minor procedure.
In a Facebook post, the senator shared a photo of Aquino taken inside the operating room and urged his followers to join him in prayer. “Patuloy natin ipagdasal ang kaligtasan ni Miss Kris Aquino,” Padilla wrote in the caption.
Aquino herself disclosed the incident through a social media post, revealing that she stopped breathing for nearly two minutes during a Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) line procedure.
“THANK YOU for continuing to pray for me to get better, for having FAITH that God will make all things possible,” Aquino wrote.
“I haven’t fully processed what happened, it was supposed to be a minor PICC LINE procedure BUT there was a span of time totaling almost 2 minutes when my lung stopped functioning — I stopped breathing.”
She credited her anesthesiologist, two surgeons, and her rheumatologist for their swift response and care, saying their presence reassured her when she regained consciousness.
While recovering, Aquino said she and her youngest son, Bimby, realized that her survival was made possible through the prayers of many. She underscored this by quoting lyrics from The Beatles’ song “Let It Be.”
“In my post-op recovery room, it was future pediatrician/neurologist/or anesthesiologist Bimb’s kiss that made me realize we owe all of you my life — utang namin na buhay pa rin ako,” Aquino shared, adding that she believes the Holy Spirit guided her doctors throughout the procedure.
Aquino also revealed that the procedure was initially scheduled for January 12 but was postponed after her blood pressure spiked due to a severe migraine. It was eventually carried out on January 13.
As of this writing, Aquino continues her recovery, with messages of support and prayers pouring in from fans, colleagues, and public figures, including Sen. Padilla.
