A resurfaced interview of former ‘StarStruck’ Avenger Alvin Aragon has reignited online discussions after he spoke candidly about his traumatic childhood and a past relationship he had as a teenager.

The interview, conducted months ago by veteran actress Amy Austria for her YouTube vlog, recently circulated again on social media amid the ongoing controversy surrounding Alvin’s public remarks about homosexuality.
In the interview, Alvin revealed that he was allegedly molested when he was six or seven years old.
“If I’m not mistaken, nu’ng mga six or seven years old ako, hinila ako ng bading sa isang eskinita. Tapos pinasok niya ako sa bahay niya. ‘Yung ginamit niya yung katawan ko, tapos wala naman akong sinabihan na ganu’n. Hindi ko naiintindihan na ano pala yun, child abuse na pala yun, pwedeng krimen pala yun. Pero nagtuluy-tuloy pa rin yung buhay ko,” he shared.
He admitted that at the time, he did not fully understand what had happened to him and only later realized it was a form of child abuse.
Alvin also disclosed that at age 15, he became involved with a wealthy gay television host. According to him, this occurred after he was eliminated from the first season of ‘StarStruck’, where Jennylyn Mercado and Mark Herras were declared Ultimate Survivors.
Alvin, now married to former SexBomb Girls member Izzy Trazona, said the relationship happened when he was just 15 years old. He also alluded to the hardships he faced following his father’s death, which he implied influenced the decisions he made at the time.
“May nakilala akong isang mayaman na TV host, na bading, and then nagkagusto siya sa akin, at 15, 15 years old ako. Iyon, madali na yun sa akin, kung ano yung gusto niyang mangyari kasi nga bago pa ako mapasok sa showbiz, nu’ng mamatay ang tatay ko, naging buhay ko na yun,” he said.
In a separate development, Alvin recently faced backlash over his statements about homosexuality. He openly described being gay as a grave sin in the eyes of God, citing biblical passages to support his belief.
“Eh, totoo naman, eh. Ano bang sabi sa Bible? God judged homosexuality. Read Genesis 17:18 and 19 — ‘those men in Sodom and Gomorrah want to have sex with other men, and God judged Sodom and Gomorrah,’” he said.
He continued by comparing his stance to parental guidance: “Ngayon, ang mabuting magulang, sasabihin mo sa anak mo kung ano yung huwag mong gawin, ‘di ba? Kasi mapapahamak ka diyan pag ginawa mo.”
Alvin further stated, “God will throw you to hell if you continue to do homosexuality. Mamuhay ka, and you don’t want to believe in Jesus? I assure you that God will throw you to hell if you don’t stop, repent, and believe in the gospel.”
His remarks sparked criticism online, with many netizens expressing concern over the tone and implications of his statements. The issue has since generated discussion within the entertainment community and on social media platforms.
