Actress Kylie Padilla has shared that she is in a good and peaceful place in her personal life, confirming that she is currently single and focused on raising her children.

Speaking in an interview with Boy Abunda on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’ on February 6, Kylie addressed her relationship status directly.
“I’m happily single. Happily, single, yes. I think it’s time I focus muna on my children which is what I’m doing,” she said with a smile.
Kylie has two sons with her former husband, Aljur Abrenica—Alas Joaquin and Axl Romeo. She stressed that motherhood is now her top priority, adding that she feels content even without being in a romantic relationship.
The actress also opened up about an unexpected but meaningful encounter involving Aljur and his partner, AJ Raval. The meeting happened by chance, shortly after AJ’s guest appearance on the show last November.
“Actually, alam mo after that, nagkita pa kami by accident, all of us. Ang saya lang kasi I was waiting for that to happen. Kasi it was bound to happen. And when it did, our kids played together. And then we had dinner together. Ang saya lang,” Kylie shared.
According to Kylie, the dinner was suggested by Aljur so that the children could spend time together. She explained that while they were in the same place, she chose to give Aljur, AJ, and the kids their own space.
“Nandito ako sa isang table, nando’n sila. Pero pinili ko naman kasi ’yon. I let them have their time,” she said. “Si Aljur ’yung nagtanong, ‘Can we have dinner together? Kasi gusto kong makasama ’yung mga bata.’ I’m like, ‘Oh, sure.’ May table sila, doon silang lahat. Dito ako, binubuo ko ’yung Lego ni Alas.”
Kylie emphasized that the arrangement was rooted in respect and her desire to see everyone—especially the children—happy.
“I respect their time. Pero masaya, masaya,” she said. “I mean, maybe it was for the better talaga. Like I’ve said in my statement, mahirap ’yung nagsisikreto ka. Lalo na sa mga bata na tinatago, ayoko.”

She reiterated that openness and honesty are essential, particularly when children are involved. Last November, Kylie also publicly expressed support for AJ in a Facebook post, saying she was glad there was no longer a need for secrecy and that their children get along well.
Kylie and Aljur were married in 2018 and separated in 2021. AJ has previously clarified that she was not a third party in their relationship.
