Digital creator Tal Brosas has spoken out against former actor Alvin Aragon following his controversial remarks about LGBTQIA+ children and celebrity parents who support them.

The backlash stemmed from Aragon’s statements criticizing parents of LGBTQIA+ members, including rapper Gloc-9, actor Ian Veneracion, and singer-comedienne K Brosas, Tal’s mother.
In a recent Facebook post, Tal directly addressed what he described as Aragon’s misuse of religion.
“Halos lahat ng religion sa mundo binabalaan tayo tungkol sa hatred at self-righteousness. If your faith and beliefs make you act OPPOSITE of what’s taught to you, hindi ang Diyos or kung sino man ang nagsasalita galing sa bibig mo. It’s just your EMPTY SOUL, and you cover that up by projecting your own traumas and insecurities onto others,” Tal wrote.
He continued: “And you know what that means? It means you have ABSOLUTELY FAILED sa mismong aral na tinuturo ng kahit sinong ‘God’ sa mundong to. It doesn’t make you morally superior. In fact, it makes you a HYPOCRITE, and worse than a person who rejects religion but acts with kindness, humility, and compassion. What’s funny is those are even called Christ-like attributes, which you have NOTHING of. Ang ironic, diba?”
Tal further accused Aragon of weaponizing Christianity.
“It’s very clear that you’re using Christianity as a weapon, and it only proves na hindi mo talaga naiintindihan ang teachings na grabe mong ipaglaban. Faith was meant to HUMBLE YOU, but it inflates your ego instead. If your belief teaches you cruelty, then your religion is just a costume for your BITTERNESS toward people who choose to live freely,” he added.
He concluded with a pointed remark: “By the looks of it, God isn’t enough to save you. Hindi dahil nag-fail si God, but because you refuse to practice what you preach. So before you try to save everyone else, start by SAVING YOURSELF first.”
Prior to Tal’s statement, K Brosas had already reacted after being mentioned by Aragon.
“Galit na galit, gustong manakit kuya? Alam ko, trending ka for how many weeks na ba? O days, ‘di ko alam. Ayoko sana magsalita kaso binanggit mo ‘yong pangalan ko kuya, e, binanggit mo kami. Parang kinondena mo kami dahil tanggap namin mga anak namin? Dahil member sila ng LGBTQ? Ano namang pakialam mo? May ambag ka ba kahit noong preschool? Nagbigay ka ba ng baon? Charot!” she said.
