GMA Network maintained its stronghold in the daytime ratings race as its afternoon programming block continued to lead the ratings board, based on the latest data from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey.
According to the report covering Friday, February 27, several Kapuso programs topped their respective timeslots, further cementing the network’s dominance in the afternoon viewing landscape.

Leading the pack was the Kapuso game show Family Feud, which posted 5.6 percent in ratings to become the highest-rated program within the afternoon block for the day.
Following closely was the Kapuso drama series Hating Kapatid, which registered 5.3 percent, decisively outperforming its rival program Frontline Express, which managed only 1.8 percent.

Another GMA afternoon drama, House of Lies, secured 5.0 percent, comfortably beating competing programs including Senior High, which recorded 0.4 percent, and Cine Hapon of TV5, which garnered 0.9 percent.
Meanwhile, the Kapamilya noontime staple It’s Showtime also performed strongly with 5.0 percent, placing it 1.5 percentage points ahead of rival program Eat Bulaga!, which logged 3.5 percent.
Completing the list of notable afternoon performers was the talk show Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, hosted by Boy Abunda, which recorded 3.8 percent in ratings.
It was followed by the final replay episode of Unica Hija with 3.3 percent, while the Korean drama Delightfully Deceitful rounded out the list with 2.0 percent.
Despite the continued dominance of GMA Network’s afternoon lineup—particularly amid the absence of a consistently strong rival block—industry observers note that current ratings remain slightly lower compared to the average daytime figures recorded in previous years, reflecting the broader shifts in television viewership and the growing migration of audiences to digital platforms.
