Singer and actress Sandara Park has denied allegations made by her fellow 2NE1 member Park Bom, who recently suggested that Park was involved in drug use.
In an Instagram story posted on Wednesday, Park issued a brief statement rejecting the claim.
“I have never used drugs. I wish her well.”
The issue began after Park Bom uploaded a handwritten letter on Instagram on Tuesday, claiming she had been made a “scapegoat” in a past controversy.
In the letter, Bom alleged that accusations against her were used to conceal supposed drug abuse involving Sandara.
“Sandara Park was caught for drug abuse, and to cover that up, they turned the medication into something labeled as a drug scandal involving me,” Bom wrote.
The post has since been deleted from her account.
Bom’s remarks quickly circulated online, drawing strong reactions from fans of Sandara Park, who rejected the allegation.
Some fans expressed concern about Bom’s condition and questioned the claims made in the deleted post.
Others defended Park, pointing to her long-standing public image.
Amid the online backlash, Sandara Park’s camp also released a brief response addressing the allegation.
“Drug claims? Groundless,” her camp said.
As of writing, Park Bom has not issued another statement regarding the deleted post.
