Esnyr Ranollo clarified that there is no romantic relationship between him and Raven Rigor despite growing speculation online about their closeness.
Speaking about the issue, Esnyr admitted that he and Raven have become especially close following his stint inside Pinoy Big Brother.
“Sobrang close po namin ni Raven. Habang mas marami kaming bonding together, lalo na noong post-PBB, siya po talaga ‘yung isa sa mga closest friends ko. Three years ago ko pa po siya nakilala, wala pa po ako sa PBB noon, kaya talagang tropa-tropa na kami. Parang dyino-joke time namin minsan na baka ma-loveteam kami, ganyan,” Esnyr shared while laughing.
The social media personality also revealed that they joke around about the rumors and even send articles about themselves to each other.
“Very papansin lang talaga kami. Actually, sinend ko pa nga sa kanya ‘yung article. Sabi ko, ‘Ala, patay ka talaga sa issue na ’to!’ Pero ayun, we’re good friends at nakakapag-open kami sa isa’t isa. I really value our friendship,” he added.
When asked directly if Raven is “boyfriend material,” Esnyr had nothing but praise for the actor.
“Oo naman. Sobrang bait ni Raven, maalaga, at ang galing niyang magbigay ng advice. Siya talaga ‘yung isa sa mga takbuhan ko kapag may problema ako o may gusto akong i-open up. Ganun din siya sa akin. Sobrang close at komportable kami sa isa’t isa, pero… friends lang!” he emphasized.
Esnyr and Raven previously caught the attention of netizens during a hiking trip to Mount Pinatubo in August 2025. Fans became intrigued after seeing their photos and playful online interactions, with many commenting on their chemistry and closeness.
Meanwhile, Esnyr also teased a different side of himself in the upcoming midseason episodes of ‘The Secrets of Hotel 88’, where he said viewers will see him take on drama for the first time.
