Former ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Gen 11’ housemate Kolette Madelo assured fans that she and her fellow alumni—including Fyang Smith, JM Ibarra, Kai Montenola, and the rest of their batch—remain close despite their increasingly busy careers.

In an interview during the media conference for the upcoming concert “Afterglow: Seasons of the Heart,” headlined by OPM icon Jose Mari Chan, Kolette said the group continues to stay in touch even if they no longer see each other as often.
According to the singer-actress, they make time to meet whenever their schedules allow.
“Bagamat hindi madalas, pag saktong pare-pareho kaming hindi busy sa kani-kanilang mga career, nagkikita kami.”
Kolette also dismissed suggestions that Fyang has changed following her rising popularity.
“Hindi naman sila nagbabago. More on understanding lang talaga ang kailangang gawin namin dahil sobrang busy.”
She added that there is no room for misunderstandings within their circle because they continue checking on one another through text messages and regular communication.
Outside of her friendships, Kolette said she is grateful for the direction of her career. Aside from pursuing acting projects, she is also able to continue her passion for singing.
The former reality star is especially excited to perform alongside Jose Mari Chan in ‘Afterglow: Seasons of the Heart,’ describing it as a milestone in her career.
The concert marks Kolette’s first production number with the legendary singer.
Joining the lineup are Lyka Estrella, ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’ champion; JM De La Cerna and Marielle Montellano, the ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan Duets’ first grand champions and the latest grand winners of ‘Your Face Sounds Familiar’.
Produced by QR Events, ‘Afterglow: Seasons of the Heart’ is scheduled for July 11 at the PICC Plenary Hall.
