Neither heavy rain nor flooding across parts of Metro Manila could stop DustBia fans from showing up in full force for Dustin Yu and Bianca de Vera’s first major fan event.

The Kapuso actor and Kapamilya actress packed the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City on Saturday, August 8, for DustBia: Love, Actually, a sold-out celebration of the love team that began inside the ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ house and has since grown into one of showbiz’s fast-rising young tandems.

Dustin and Bianca first became close during ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition’ in 2025. What could have remained a reality-show pairing continued outside the house, with their supporters following them from one project to another.

The two opened their fan meet with Maki’s ‘Dilaw’ and Moira Dela Torre’s ‘Babalik Sa’Yo,’ entering through the theater doors as screaming fans welcomed them.

From there, the night was packed with performances, games, and fan interactions.

In ‘3rd Wheeling with DustBia,’ selected fans joined Dustin and Bianca in role-playing scenarios involving elevator encounters, coffee-shop dates, and even tricycle rides.

Dustin later took the stage for his solo segment, performing ‘You’ll Be Safe Here’ before showing off his dance moves to Ne-Yo’s ‘Mad’ and ‘Babaero.’

Bianca, meanwhile, fulfilled her dream of singing onstage as she performed ‘Pusong Ligaw,’ ‘Bakit Nga Ba Mahal Kita?’ and ‘Ikot-Ikot.’

Their fellow ‘PBB’ housemate River Joseph also made a special appearance, joining Dustin for several dance numbers before Bianca came onstage for BINI’s ‘Shagidi,’ giving fans a DustBiVer reunion.

But beyond the performances and kilig moments, Dustin and Bianca also gave fans something more personal.

During the ‘Love Confessions’ segment, they finally opened and read the letters they had written for each other while they were still inside the ‘PBB’ house—letters they had never gotten the chance to read until their fan meet.

They followed the emotional moment with a performance of ‘Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now.’

The biggest surprise, however, came toward the end of the event when Dustin and Bianca announced their next major project together.

The pair will topbill Regal Entertainment’s upcoming romantic film ‘Ba’t ’Di Na Lang Tayo?’, directed by Jason Paul Laxamana.

“Every time we get to see all of you, we’re reminded of how lucky we are because this isn’t just our journey—it’s our journey together,” Bianca told their supporters.

Dustin admitted that keeping the movie announcement secret had been difficult.

“May secret talaga kami na hirap na hirap kaming itago. Sa daming beses naming gustong sabihin, pinigilan namin ang isa’t isa,” he said.

Bianca added, “We’ve been keeping this for so long, planning and dreaming about it. We’ve been waiting for the perfect moment to finally share it with you.”

“Cheffies, maraming-maraming salamat sa pagmamahal. Dahil kung wala kayo, hindi rin mangyayari ang susunod na kabanatang ito,” Dustin told their fans.

‘Ba’t ’Di Na Lang Tayo?’ will follow two young people navigating adult responsibilities while developing feelings for each other, raising the question of whether romance can survive as the realities of adulthood begin to pile up.

The project marks another major test for DustBia after appearing with Will Ashley in the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival entry ‘Love You So Bad’, directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar.

With their fandom growing quickly, Dustin and Bianca are aware that bigger projects also bring greater expectations. For Bianca, however, pressure is not necessarily something to fear. She hopes to retain that hunger for as long as she remains in the industry.

Dustin, meanwhile, is grateful that he has Bianca beside him while navigating their rapidly growing careers. According to Dustin, the two regularly discuss their goals and areas they still need to improve.

For Bianca, having someone beside her makes the journey easier. Dustin also acknowledged that there are moments when he feels pressure to satisfy the expectations of their supporters. But he hopes fans will also give them enough space to develop as performers.

Director Jason Paul Laxamana appears equally determined to push Dustin and Bianca beyond their popularity as a tandem.
