Claudia Buenavista
Portrayed by the two of the most seasoned actress of their own generation, Jean Garcia and Angelica Panganiban successfully portrayed the character of the cunning Claudia Buenavista in 2000 and 2015 version in Philippine TV.
Selina Perreira-Matias
One of the most hated Pinay kotrabida is no other than “Mula Sa Puso’s” Selina Perreira-Matias, played by veteran actress Princess Punzalan.
Clara del Valle
The teleserye “Mara Clara” features the outstanding performance of Gladys Reyes for her character, Clara del Valle. In 2010, Kapamilya actress Julia Montes gave breath to the character alongside Kathryn Bernardo who played Mara del Valle.
Valentina
Darna’s number one enemy is Valentina. In the TV adaptation of this comic super heroine by GMA Network, actress Alessandra de Rossi was hated by Filipino viewers with her exceptinal acting as the snake goddess, Valentina.
In 2009 version, Iwa Moto portrayed the same character as Marian Rivera’s nemesis.
Sang’gre Pirena
The country’s most successful telefantasya is “Encantadia,” who featured three of the most hated kontrabida in Philippine TV. One of them is Sang’gre Pirena, played by Sunshine Dizon and Glaiza de Castro in 2016 adaptation.
Hagorn
Another “Encantadia” character that is included in the list is Hagorn, the King of Hathoria. Veteran actors Pen Medina and John Arcilla gave justice to the most-feared character in the telefantasya.
Gurna
Gurna is one of the most hated kontrabida of 2016, played by the Starstruck alumnus, Vaness del Moral. In 2005 version, Girlie Sevilla slayed her performance.
Nicole Esquivel
Tagged as the ‘Pambansang Bes,’ Maja Salvador’s character in the infidelity-themed series, “The Legal Wife” was hated by Filipino viewers.
Heidi Fernandez
Philippine adaptation of the Korean hit TV series, “Temptation of Wife” became every household’s teleserye. Actress Glaiza de Castro portrayed the selfish and cunning Heidi Fernandez, the nemesis of Marian Rivera’s Angeline Santos-Salcedo.
Ashley M. Alcantara-Valdicañas
One of the most evil sister in Philippine TV is Ashley Alcantara-Valdicañas of GMA Network’s “The Half Sisters.” Actress Thea Tolentino portrayed the character that mainly caused sufferings to Barbie Forteza’s character, Diana Alcantara.
