Netizens link Joey’s latest Instagram post to Hashtag Franco Hernandez’s death.
Veteran comedian-TV host Joey de Leon received negative comments on his latest Instagram post. Netizens associated the post of the 71-year old “Eat Bulaga!” host to the death of Hashtag member Franco Hernandez.
On his throwback photo during his trip in the Dead Sea, between Israel and Jordan, it can be seen that Joey is floating.
He wrote, “Nuknukan ka na ng katangahan pag sa DEAD SEA nalunod ka pa!”
Recently, Hashtag member Franco Hernandez died due to drowning during his trip in Malita, Davao Occidental last November 11, 2017. Netizens found Joey’s post to be insensitive and replied negatively against the veteran actor-TV host.

Bruh. He wouldn’t even delete the tweet in the first place if it wasn’t about their rival station, and it wouldn’t be a throwback image about drowning.

Furthermore, “It’s Showtime” host Teddy Corpuz and Hashtag member Paolo Angeles also commented on the IG post. They condemned the allegedly ‘insensitive’ post of the “Eat Bulaga!” host.
“Sana binigay mo na lng muna sa amin ang maipagluksa ang kaibigan at kapatid namin, kahit isang araw lang. kahit ngayon lang. Nakakalungkot ka po. Ipapag pray po kita na gabayan ka ng puong may kapal,” Teddy wrote.
Hashtag Paolo also expressed his disapproval and called Joey, ‘bastos.’
“Tanda mo na bastos ka pa. Wala akong pake kahit sikat ka. Mga joke mo wala sa lugar. Sobrang bastos mo,” he wrote.
As of now, Joey has not yet released any official statement about this new controversy.
