- Erich Gonzales told the story about the adjustments on her portrayal in The Blood Sisters.

During the Thanksgiving Media Conference for the newest series under ABS-CBN’s Dreamscape ‘The Blood Sisters’, held today, February 21, Erich Gonzales essayed her adjustments for her three characters as the triplets–Erika, Carrie and Agatha, respectively.
She added how challenging the taping especially the reunion of the three women. She further described how the production had to go over certain scenes many times over just to achieve the ‘perfect take’.
“Yesterday lang, nag-tape kami ng triplets. So, natapos kami mga umaga na. Magkikita sila, definitely po.
“Ibang klaseng busisi po ‘yung ginawa naming lahat. Extra, extra hard work po talaga siya. Like, sa character ni Carrie, Agatha and Erika, isang eksena ‘yun pero paulit-ulit mo siyang gagawin.
“Una muna, for example, lahat ng lines ni Agatha. And then, next naman, change ka ng look, change to Carrie. Then, lines and everything, all the emotions. Next si Erika naman. Same thing and then yun, gagawin mo lang siya ng paulit-ulit talaga. So, patience po and trabaho po talaga siya.”
Dina Bonnevie, on the other hand, shared her how Gonzales put on a lot of hard work for the titular role.
She praised Erich’s dedication and commitment in portraying Erika and Carrie in one scene, “I just wanted to share something. Kasi sa mansion, nagkita na rin si Erika at saka si Carrie. And dun talaga ako naha-hats-off kay Erich kasi we would take the scene as Carrie, Carrie muna siya. Then, uulitin na naman namin ‘yan for a closer, parang close-up naman as Carrie.
“And then, uulitin namin ulit as Erika na naman siya. And then, uulitin na naman as Erika na closer shot.”
Dina explained the process of Erich’s transformation from a character to another.
“Pero ‘yung tanggal ng make-up, balik ng make-up, baba ng buhok, taas ng buhok. Kasi as Carrie, naka-ponytail siya. Kapag as Erika, baba lang, simple. Pero sometimes talagang gumaganyan siya, ‘I’m so tired na’.
“Naiiyak na siya sa pagod pero todo talaga. I always tell Erich, kahit na madaling-araw na talagang ‘yung copious tears. Kahit na pagod na pagod na siya, nakaka-iyak pa rin siya ng todo.”
Dina commended Erich’s wonderful portrayal in The Blood Sisters, “As in, that’s true she studies her role. And nakikita mo yung talagang disparity ng character ni Carrie sa character ni Erika. So, ‘yun hats-off ako sa kanya. Hindi ko pa siya nakikita as Agatha but eventually, magiging tatlong anak na kukupkupin ko sa bahay.
“So, malamang magsasagupaan na kami nitong katabi ko (referring to Cherry Pie Picache).”
