He also became missing in action for eight months since October 2017.
In the said article, there are two rumors circulating the internet regarding John Lloyd asking for projects. The first one also entailed that the network management didn’t allow John Lloyd to have a project. The second version of the rumor also involved the management asking him to wait for five months.
John Lloyd may be the only one who can clarify the rumors. He may deny or confirm the blind items which pertained to his comeback. However, according to the report in Cabinet Files, a movie is waiting for John Lloyd in Star Cinema. The movie is also waiting for John Lloyd as he may be the only one who can give the challenging role some justice.
John Lloyd may also come out of his temporary and indefinite leave of absence. Kane Errol Chua, the head of ABS-CBN Integrated Communications released the statement on October 6, 2017.
“ABS-CBN and John Lloyd Cruz have agreed for him to take an indefinite leave of absence to attend to personal matters. John Lloyd will be taking a break outside the country and will return to ABS-CBN after his leave of absence.”
