Dion Ignacio deserves a loyalty award from GMA Network in staying for almost a decade and a half. He is indeed one of GMA’s finest and was already granted several projects over the years including his recent special participation in “The Stepdaughters.”
The actor started his acting career by joining Starstruck in 2004. His batchmates were Jennylyn Mercado, Mark Herras, and Yasmien Kurdi who are also great artists today.
In an interview by GMA Network official website, Dion was asked why he remained loyal to GMA. He answered, “Kasi dito parang family na, kilala ko na lahat kahit saan ako mag-guest, mag-taping, kahit mga cameraman. Komportable ako.”
“And masaya naman ako sa GMA, kasi kumbaga lagi akong may work sa kanila, hindi man sunod-sunod pero [ako] hindi nawawala sa isip nila. So sobrang special sa akin,” he added.
Dion Ignacio expressed his gratitude both to the network and the Artist Center for trusting him and continuously giving him projects, “Sobrang laking pasasalamat ko dun and sana madagdagan pa.”
It is clear that Dion is not about to leave GMA and we’ll probably see him remain as Kapuso for years to come.
