Elmo Magalona and Janella Salvador embark on an ocean-themed musical adventure together in their big screen debut “My Fairy Tail Love Story,” airing on Cinema One this Sunday (August 26) at 7 PM.
The fantasy flick revolves around spoiled Chantel (Janella), who triggers a curse turning her into mermaid, after muddling corals while snorkeling.
She confides in her bestfriend Noah (Elmo), who thinks that ‘true love’s kiss’ is the cure to getting back her legs. Together they set out to find her ‘prince charming,’ believing he is in the form of celebrity DJ Ethan (Kiko Estrada).
Having been harboring feelings for Chantel, Noah struggles on the sidelines as he watches Chantel and DJ Ethan’s relationship blossom. Will Noah ever get his chance at love? Will Chantel find her happily ever after?
“My Fairy Tail Love Story” also stars Kiray Celis, Dominic Ochoa, Dimples Romana, Kakai Bautista, Jervi Li, Rubi Rubi, and Miles Ocampo. It is directed by Perci Intalan.
