Many of the fans of James Reid and Sarah Geronimo were ecstatic to see their idols taping for Vice Ganda’s late-night Sunday talk show “GGV” last week.
Viva Films and even the show’s social media accounts also posted some of the behind-the-scenes of the guesting.
However, fans were disappointed to learn that the much anticipated episode will never be seen on the small screen following the instruction of Mommy Divine, Sarah’s mother.
One of the audiences, Neil Pacheco, stressed that the cancellation was ordered by Viva Films and Sarah’s mother. It was also reported that Mommy Divine even walked out on the top-rating show.
The disappointed netizen wrote in his post, “That GGV episode that will never ever air because of Viva and Mommy Divine. Yes, because of Sarah Geronimo’s mom. Sayang oras nung mga involve sa episode. Hindi man lang na-promote ang Miss Granny.”
The 30-year-old singer has not yet commented on the said issue. Although Mommy Divine is her mother, netizens stressed that she must still be professional especially since Sarah is a public figure. Some even said that at Sarah’s age, her mother must stop meddling with her daughter’s life.
ABS-CBN and Viva Vilms have yet to comment on the issue.
