Angelica Panganiban finally revealed the reason behind her two break-ups with Carlo Aquino in the past. In an episode of Gandang Gabi Vice, Angelica mentioned fellow Star Magic artist and friend Maja Salvador as the reason why she broke up with Carlo for the second time.

Carlo and Angelica were promoting their film, Exes Baggage in an episode of Gandang Gabi Vice. Host Vice Ganda asked Carlo and Angelica about the reason which caused them to end their six-year relationship.
The first break-up, Angelica said, was over a “third party.” Then she and Carlo got back together only for Carlo to initiate their second break-up which Angelica said was “maayos ‘yung panloloko.”
Carlo wanted to focus on Maja.
Vice playfully tried to guess the name of the girl. When Maja’s name came up, Angelica confirmed that the actress was the reason behind her second break-up with Carlo. Angelica, however, clarified that Carlo’s relationship with her and with Maja never overlapped.
“Siguro gusto niya talagang mag-start nang maayos. Kailangan niyang tapusin nang maayos sa akin. Inamin naman niya. Hindi siya nagloko. Pinutol niya ‘yung sa ‘kin bago siya nagsimula.”

Carlo said that Maja was not aware that he and Angelica got back together that time. When Vice asked about Angelica’s feelings towards Maja, the actress admitted that she never held a grudge against the latter.
