Kapuso actor Paul Salas recently had an interview with PEP.ph where he jokingly denied break-up with Kapamilya star Barbie Imperial. He pointed out that they never really confirmed their dating status.
After Paul left ABS-CBN and signed up with GMA Network, break-up rumors started to surface on social media.
Didn’t work out.
Although it didn’t work out, Paul says he remains happy for Barbie and her achievements.
“Naging special si Barbie sa puso ko so, ayun, di lang talaga nag-work. Pero happy ako sa mga achievements niya sa life ngayon… Hindi lang kami nag-work. ‘Yun.”
Physical abuse.
After break-up rumors, Barbie posted a photo of herself with bruises with a caption that expresses her take on physical abuse. Although she deleted said post right after, she never disclosed from where and from whom she got it from. Paul, on the other hand, was the one who received the short straw and received accusations and backlash from her posts. He, however, remained quiet and still has yet to talk about said issue.
“Actually, nung una kasi, okay naman kami, okay naman po, napag-usapan naman naming okay kami… Basta po mga about sa ganyan, ayoko na po munang anuhin…”

Barbie is currently being linked to her Araw Gabi leading man JM de Guzman. Although Paul has no news about them, he still wished them well.
“Iyan, wala akong balita diyan. Kung sila at happy sila, e, di good luck sa kanila.”
A message for Barbie.
Paul left a message for Barbie who continues to receive recognition for her achievements.
“Ayun, happy nga ako sa mga achievements mo sa life, and sana magtuluy-tuloy ang pag-akyat ng career mo.”
