Pauline Mendoza is one of the young stars the Kapuso network is building up as a future leading lady. She is currently part of Cain at Abel cast as Sanya Lopez’s sister.
The young star already had several projects in GMA such as Juan Happy Love Story, That’s My Amboy, Little Nanay, Alyas Robin Hood, and My Love From The Star. However, her biggest break was Kambal, Karibal where she was greatly exposed.
Mendoza admitted that being an artist is hard but, so far, she never had a problem working with veteran stars except for that one time.
She remembers a fighting scene from the set of My Love From The Star which her personal emotions almost took over what’s on the script.

She shared, “May naalala akong experience, may naka-eksena akong talent. Yung eksena, fight talaga, sasabunutan niya ako.
“Yung eksena, manggagaling ako sa hill, tapos hahatakin niya ako pababa. Yun po ang alam ko… yun po ang napag-usapan namin.
“And then noong nag-action na, hindi ko alam na… sinampal niya ako, e, ang haba pa ng nails niya. Tapos naka-ganito pa siya [closed fist] kaya nasugatan yung mukha ko.

“Pero after naman no’n, pinag-usapan naming dalawa iyon, okay na po kami.
“‘Next time, kausapin mo yung makaka-eksena mo,’ yun ang sinabi ko sa kanya.
“Nagulat kasi talaga ako. Nagda-dialogue pa ako, biglang sinampal ako. Pero tinuloy po namin yung scene.”
Pauline Mendoza proves that she is professional enough to handle such situations. GMA has high hopes for her.
