Kierulf Raboy also known as Kier King has been an inspiration, as his Idol Philippines audition video went viral by garnering 1.2 million views and is now at the #3 trending spot in Youtube.
Kier King, a 24-year-old from Sultan Kudarat has stirred the hearts of many as he shared the story of his struggles and perseverance in an interview.After joining several singing contests in his province, he and his family ventured to Manila for the pursuit of his dreams.They lived with his aunt in Las Piñas.
King Kier has joined numerous contests including ‘Popstar Kids’ of CH 11 QTV, ‘Bet ng Bayan,’ and other shows of GMA Network. Now he is known as King Kier in Idol Philippines.
“12 years na po akong sumusubok sa pagtupad ng pangarap ko and di pa rin po ako tumitigil na abutin yung pangarap ko,” King Kier said.
After his performance of the song ‘You are the Reason’ by Calum Scott,the four judges of Idol Philippines loved and praised his performance.
“Nakuha mo attention ko the whole time. You have good stage prescence,” said James Reid
“Ang ganda ganda ng tunog. Ang ganda ng boses mo,” enthused Vice Ganda
“We felt the emotion sobra and I really love the song” occurred Moira.
“Medyo nagkakaroon na ako ng ear fatigue pero nung nadinig kita parang sunshine, you’re like a sunshine. I love the tone of your voice.,” intoned Regine.
He felt victorious as he got the four yeses of the judges and the golden ticket for the Idol Philippines City.
Truly, Kier King’s perseverance is an inspiration for those struggling for their dreams.
