Former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Heaven Peralejo, who confirmed she is dating Manny Pacquiao’s son Jimuel, revealed why she chose to hide the that Jimuel was courting her.
In an interview with ‘Magandang Buhay,’ the actress said, “Kaya tinago rin namin po for a while. Habang nanliligaw po. Habang hindi pa sure. Sabi ko [sa kanya] ‘Atin na lang muna. Privacy muna.’”
She also didn’t want other people meddling and saying bad things about them.
“Kasi ayoko din naman na ang daming masasabi ng mga tao. And hindi ko naman maiiwasan din po yun. So parang mas gusto kong i-cherish muna kung anong meron kami at hindi siya sa public eye.”
The actress even revealed why Jimuel courted her for almost a year.
“Kasi ako naman po gusto ko makita yung effort. Naghihintay din po ako no’n ng sign. Hinihintay ko rin po na ready ako. Kasi siyempre ayoko naman pong pumasok sa first relationship ko nang nagmamadali.”
Heaven also shared that Jimuel didn’t just court her but also her family.
“Niligawan niya po yung both families ko. Umakyat po talaga siya ng ligaw sa both parents ko. So talagang pinaghirapan niya ‘yun.”
Jimuel recently graduated from high school at Brent International School. Manny Pacquiao’s eldest son is also interested in a boxing career.
In an Instagram post, Jinkee Pacquiao showed how proud she is as a mother.
