- James Reid and Nancy McDonie are teaming up for the first time in a series
- Their series under Dreamscape is entitled Soulmate
- The two stars attended the story conference of the series today
ABS-CBN and MLD Management recently inked a partnership and co-management deal for Korean girl group Momoland’s line up of projects with the Kapamilya network.
This will include a travel-themed series where they will tour the beautiful places in the Philippines entitled Soulmate.
The upcoming Kapamilya series under Dreamscape will be led by the Multimedia Prince James Reid and Nancy McDonie from the South Korean girl group Momoland. Nancy made local headlines when fans began tagging her as a Liza Soberano lookalike.
ABS-CBN News tweeted the exciting announcement this afternoon, Friday, October 4, that James and Nancy attended the story conference just recently.
“James Reid and Nancy of Momoland to team up for a Kapamilya teleserye entitled ‘Soulmate,’ which will be produced by Dreamscape.James and Nancy attend today the story conference of their upcoming series,” the tweet announced.

The upcoming project will be directed by Antoinette Jadaone.The director is known for the hit series ‘On the Wings of Love and movie ‘Never Not Love You, both top-billed by James and his other half in JaDine, Nadine Lustre.

Momoland is a K-pop group formed by MLD Entertainment through the 2016 reality show Finding Momoland. The show winners became the seven members Hyebin, Yeonwoo, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy. They debuted on November 10, 2016, with the EP Welcome to Momoland. They are the group behind the international hit songs “Bboom Bboom” and “BAAM.”
The girl group had first had their cameo roles in the Korean TV drama The Liar and His Lover in 2017. They were seen in the reality shows Finding Momoland in 2016
