The Philippine TV ratings war remained contentious as rival networks continue to edge out each other in their respective programming bailiwicks.
Based on the latest available data from AGB Nielsen NUTAM People ratings for January 13 to 17, GMA Network continues to hold on to their noontime and afternoon leadership while ABS-CBN keeps on commanding primetime programming.
Kapuso afternoon soap Prima Donnas remained on top of its competition, Kadenang Ginto.
Prima Donnas managed to keep a sizeable lead against Kadenang Ginto with the highest being recorded on Monday and Tuesday, January 13-14 at 2.4%, 9.8% vs 7.4% and 9.3% vs 6.9% respectively.
For the noontime battle, Eat Bulaga! still leads the ratings board against It’s Showtime. Eat Bulaga! beats It’s Showtime with its highest margin on Thursday, January 16 at 1.7%, 7.6% vs 5.9%.
For primetime, Kapamilya’s newest teleserye Make It With You debuted on top even beating fellow Kapamilya FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
The LizQuen teleserye’s pilot episode recorded a rating of 14.4%, 4.5% higher than rival The Gift with 9.9%.

In its second episode, Make It With You soared to the top of primetime leader’s board with 14.1%, 4.4% higher than The Gift and 0.2% higher than FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
And for the rest of its debut week, Make It With You swept its Kapuso rival with a significant gap.
