- Jay Sonza believes Kim’s van shooting was staged
Retired broadcaster and former Kapamilya Jay Sonza has given his opinion on the Kim Chiu van shooting incident.
On Facebook, Sonza posted his opinion on the matter and insinuated that the incident could be a scripted one.
Sonza argued that there are many loopholes in Kim’s story.
“Sa totoo lang napakaraming butas ang sanaysay ni Ms. Chiu. Let’s just take it at face value. The incident is under investigation by the authorities,” he said.
He even brought up Kim’s experience as a PBB housemate implying that the incident could be a planned one by ABS-CBN.
“Kim is a product of bahay ni Kuya PBB Teen edition and one of the most bankable artists and a contract artist of the kapamilya network,” he added.

He also aired his doubts about Ted Failon’s wife’s suicide.
“no offense meant, but I find the story incredible to believe. just like the old story of Failon’s wife alleged ‘suicide with a twist’ initially investigated by QC police, taken over by the NBI, who reported ‘no foul play,'” said Sonza.
However, Sonza wasn’t satisfied with just one post about the incident. He even warned veteran journalists about Kim’s story being false.

Jay Sonza’s social media hate spree
This is not the first time that Sonza made hate posts on social media.
Being known as one of the die-hard Duterte supporters, Jay has been slamming not only ABS-CBN but other media networks and those people sharing criticisms about the government.
From maligning Bimby Aquino’s gender to mocking former President Noynoy Aquino, Sonza has been utilizing his Facebook page to spread hate to those who differs from his stand.
Lately, he slammed ABS-CBN foundation for their donation drive for the victims of the Taal volcano eruption.

Sonza was a former ABS-CBN broadcaster and was the host of the talk show Mel and Jay.
He resigned in 1996 after ABS-CBN suspended his then co-host Mel Tiangco who eventually went on an indefinite leave of absence from the network.
