Two staples of the current OPM scene coming together from two different backgrounds: rock band MAYONNAISE who’s been in the scene for more than 17 years, gracing us with hits that spanned the CD, mp3, and streaming eras; and I BELONG TO THE ZOO, a solo-folk-act-recently-turned-full-band who’s been making waves with the series of massive hugot hits he’s released since 2018.
With the two bands performing together in lots of shows, and the close friendship between the two frontmen – Monty Macalino and Argee Guerrero, it was only a matter of time before a collab song had to be made. With PAHIRAPAN, these two hitmakers take on difficult love (of different forms). In these trying times, this may just be the collaboration we all needed.

PAHIRAPAN is now out on all digital platforms. The music video, shot in Taiwan featuring Yuna Chiang and Rosa Chen, will also premiere on YouTube today, March 13 at 7PM.
Following the release of Kumander last Christmas, PAHIRAPAN is the 2nd single off of Mayonnaise’s upcoming 8th studio album.
