It seems that Jericho Rosales’ son Santino doesn’t want to follow in his dad’s footsteps in show business.
The 19-year-old Santino would rather follow his mother’s footsteps in modeling.
Santino, Jericho’s son with former model Kai Palomares, is now a Viva artist, the talent agency revealed Thursday in an Instagram post.
Viva artist agency was proud to announce the new addition to their family, even tagging Santino as ‘Viva’s Newest Heartthrob’.
“We are pleased to announce that Santino Rosales is now part of the VIVA ARTISTS AGENCY family!” Viva said in its post.

When he was introduced as the new contract artist of the Viva Artists Agency, he was asked if he plans to pursue acting.
“I want to be one of the top models in the Philippines when the time comes, simply because I don’t have the passion for it,” referring to acting.
The new Viva talent also shared that he was raised to always do things that he’s passionate about, “And I was always taught growing up that for everything I do, I have to have a passion for it so I can do it with the best of my abilities. That’s why I don’t wanna join showbiz.”
But what if an acting job comes with a big opportunity for him? Santino still answered that he will still not enter showbiz, “If this means that my career will take a big leap from the path that it’s already taking, then I don’t think I will be inclined to do it simply because I enjoy the path that I’m on.”
“And I would like to be there every step of the way rather than just take one big step into something that I’m not really passionate about.”
Santino also started a business with his mom which unfortunately suffered a setback as the lockdown was imposed.
“Story time! It’s always been a big dream of mine to start a business early in life. Today, I am proud to say that I took the leap and started my first business venture with my mum,” he said.

Santino Rosales is the son of actor Jericho Rosales and former model Kai Palomares.
Despite his parents not being together, Santino and his dad have a strong bond. Jericho shared how proud he was as a father when Santino graduated from high school.
