Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC), is one of the largest religious group in the country. When it comes to beliefs, they are well-respected and known to be united. Their history is part of the Philippine history.
Felix Manalo is the first executive minister of INC. His bibliography is very important to every member of the church. That’s why, when it is decided to be a movie, INC members promised to give support.
Talking about support, netizens noticed that, despite of Star Magic artists’ involvement with the film, ABS-CBN didn’t show any promotion of the film. The movie trailer wasn’t placed in any of their show and Kapamilya artists including in the movie wasn’t able to promote about it. Is there a feud between ABS-CBN and Iglesia Ni Cristo?
Notwithstanding the fact that the Felix Manalo movie garnered 51 million pesos in their first screening day, but no news hereafter about its income. In spite the movie is showing in over 400 cinemas nationwide, but it was not shown in Rockwell and Century Mall, which is owned by ABS-CBN.
Moreover, the movie broke two Guinness world records last October 4, 2015 for the largest audience at the premiere night, attended by more than 43, 000 people. Still, Kapamilya network was not invited to a series of press conference of the movie. What do you think? Is there really a serious feud between INC and ABS-CBN?
Felix Manalo released last October 4, 2015 starring Dennis Trillo and Bela Padilla. Kapamilya stars that had been part of the movie were Arci Munoz, Joem Bascon, Regine Angeles, Ejay Falcon, Jon Lucas, and Richard Yap.
