On her August 18 Instagram post, showbiz columnist Lolit Solis admitted that she felt guilty over her revelation that Mark Herras tried to borrow money from her.
Solis wrote, “Pero in fairness, medyo na guilty din ako dahil nga parang hiniya ko si Mark.”
She also clarified she wasn’t trying to defame the actor when she revealed the actor’s financial dilemma on her weekly online show.
Solis explained that she admonished Herras. She pities and is angry over the actor’s career since she managed Herras’ acting career over the years.

TV personality RR Enriquez criticized Solis for her revelation, noting that the entertainment columnist should have helped her talent instead of publicly shaming him.
Solis responded to her bashers online, claimed that they only degraded Herras further instead of helping the Kapuso actor.
Earlier, she revealed that Herras tried to borrow Php 30,000 from her to purchase milk supplements for his newborn child.
She narrated how she scolded the actor for not being financially prepared and compared him to her personal assistant (PA). She also criticized Herras for his lackluster career in comparison to his Starstruck co-alumni.
Herras won the title Ultimate Male Survivor of Starstruck Season 1. The GMA Network’s talent search paved the way for him to make a name in showbiz.
