PBB: Otso big winner Yamyam Gucong proposed to his girlfriend of six years as he went down on his knees inside a jewelry store.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, October 20, Gucong shared that he wanted to surprise his girlfriend by proposing to her at the jewelry store.
“Alam kung immune kana sa mga surprises ko sayo dati at gusto kung maiba naman kaya dinala kita mismo sa store kung saan tatanungin kita ng “papayag kaba na maging asawa ko?” he wrote.

Gocong’s celebrity friends and the netizens then congratulated the two in the comment section.
Gucong’s fellow PBB ex-housemates Fumiya, Argel Saycon, and Andre Brouillette were among the celebrities who congratulated him.
Melai Cantiveros, Ritz Azul, Richard Juan, Say Alonzo, and Franki Russell also gave their good wishes.

In an exclusive interview with the cast members, Gucong briefly talked about his girlfriend.
When asked about his opinion on what love is, he said love grows over time.
He then described his non-showbiz girlfriend as the love of his life.
“Ang definition ko po sa love ko po nung bata, ay ‘matindi’ po ‘yung love ng teenagers.
“Ngayon po natagpuan ko na po ‘yung ‘Love of My Life.’ Girfriend ko po [of] six years,” he said.
“Kung matindi po ‘yung love nung teenagers, mas matindi po ngayon kasi focus ka na talaga sa isang pag-ibig.”
